About Us

Our church is not a building, but a collection of people who are very different, but have a lot in common. We are of differing ages, and diverse backgrounds, many of us coming from other parts of the country, but we all have something special that we share. We all enjoy a great friendship with Jesus Christ.

This is not to say that we are just religious, nor that we think of ourselves in any way superior or better than anyone else in Honiton. It's just that knowing Jesus Christ has brought into each of our lives a satisfaction and purpose which nothing else in this world can supply.

Why are we a church?

It's true that going to church doesn't make anyone a Christian. However, if you are a Christian you will want to go to church. We get together every Sunday, and at other times too, because we not only enjoy, but we also want to worship God, learn from what He says in the Bible, pray for ourselves and others, and be able to share with as many people as we can how good it is to know Jesus Christ.
