Ladies Easter Craft Afternoon 16th March 2024
It was good to have the opportunity once again, of holding a craft afternoon. Even though the weather was somewhat damp, we did have a good attendance.
Two craft were demonstrated, one being really cute door hangers and the other Easter wreaths. Val Woolam gave a well received short talk on the peace of God, which truly does pass all understanding.
Cakes and fellowship contributed to a very enjoyable afternoon.
Ladies Christmas Craft Afternoon 2023
An enjoyable time was had by all who attended. The afternoon consisted of two crafts being demonstrated. Wendy guided us in the art of Christmas cracker making and Biggles showed us how to paint our own Christmas tree baubles. Both were really well received .
Refreshments and lots of cakes were enjoyed, followed by a short talk, brought to us by Karen Menzfeld, on the wonderful peace of God. A very enjoyable afternoon was had by all, with folks taking their crafts home and free tracts and literature were made available.
Blythswood Christmas Shoe Box Appeal 2023

This is our 10th year we have participated in the Blythswood Christmas Shoe Box Appeal. With completed boxes and the various contributions received it has enabled us, along with our friends from Newhouse Baptist Church to have 81 boxes ready for collection. Once collected they will be sent to Ukraine. We pray God will will bless this endeavour. Thank you to all who have made this possible.
